Hi Guys, some news are coming. At first we got new Kite-euiptment
from Liquid Force. Unfortunately the company announced immediately
after our order to withdraw from the kitesurfing area. So actually
we are looking for something new! We are finished our selfmade Van
named Duky and so we are ready for some more amazing roudtrips. In
the last months we had good times in Spain, Portugal, Netherland,
Denmark and a unique sailboattrip in Croatia with a wonderful crew.
I think the most exciting news is we gave birth to a son in april
2022 and now we are looking forward to the upcoming time. We are
planing big trips in september, november and february, stay tuned.

Because of the Corona crisis we change the plan visit Denmark
to spend one week in the Wangerland. The wind was good, the
temperatures could be warmer! The priel in Hooksiel was glasy
and also Neuharlingersiel was good, to improve my unhooked
skills. A few photos are uploaded.

Wow, this was my first trip without windsurfgear, hard to
decide, but for sure the easiest check in in my life. Sal
gave us 12 of 14 days with wind. We started full motivated
with a lot of fun on the water. Unfortunatly I broke a rip
doing a kiteloop in the first week, so I relax and push Gani
more in the second week. Even through we made it to a new
short clip and a lot of nice pictures. Check it out!

We are just back from a 3 weeks roadtrip to Sardinia. It was a
hot time up to 40 degrees and unfortunatly with just 5 days
with really good wind. We drove from the north to the south
and back. Sardinia has a lot of beautiful beaches with cristal
blue water! The spots are good and we will come back, but next
time in a colder time of the year. We uploaded a few new
pictures.

Again Capetown, it is the 4th time I am here and I think it
is not the last one. We love this place with all the
activities, good wind and wave spots, warm clima and the
people! 3 weeks of never boring moments. For me it is actually
hard to decide to take the windsurf or the kitesurfstuff.
Enjoy our pictures.

Our first trip to Brazil was amazing. In the 3 weeks we had
just 2 days without enough wind to surf. We started in Ilha do
Guajiru, a beautiful lagoon infront of our apartment. Gani
made a kitesurf course and also I started to test it. It is
better than I thought. After a week we went to Jericoacoara,
but 4 days were enough at the busy place. So we went to Barra
Grande, also a super nice place to kitesurf. On the way back
to Fortaleza we stop in Icaraizinho. This was not the last time
we will spent in Brazil. Photos are uploaded.

Another 3 week trip to Cape Town, the summer side in this time!
My wife and I got married over there without our main suitcase
included our wedding outfits. Thanks KLM and Airfrance for the
unqualified help! Special thanks to our wedding photographer
Oli Stau and my dad for visiting us at our day! The time after
the wedding we used for the typical sightseeing, safarie and
of course for surfing. Enjoy our small 4 minute clip and the
new photos.

We did another 2 week roadtrip to Portugal. It is always a good
place to surf and relax in warm conditions. We brought a short
clip and a few photos back to Germany. Hope you enjoy it!

In April we did a roadtrip till Lisboa. We drove 5.500km to enjoy
the warm and sunny south of Europe! We stopped at half of the way in
Hossegor to relax and surf for one day. After that we drove till
Peniche where we got super nice waves for a few days. We also did
some sightseeing in Lisboa and stopped for some days in Ericera,
where we found a really long righthander. On the way back home I
could scored a windy and wavy windsurf day in the north of spain.
At least we spend a last day in Paris before we went back home to
Muenster.

2 weeks of holiday in octobre and not much money, so my girlfriend
and I chose the windy and wavy island Fuerteventura! But in the
whole 14 days, there was not only one day with enough wind for
freestyle. I never saw the island like this for such a long time.
However, the waves in La Pared and Corralejo were pumping!
We used the time to improve our skills in normal surfing and had a
nice, funny time there.

After my time in Cologne came to an end I could spent 4 weeks in
South Africa with a lot of friends. I love Capetown so much, because
every trip to that place is always a super nice one. With the
wind I was much more lucky than the last time. In the first 3
weeks there was almost every day wind for freestyle and jumping
sessions on the sea. In the last week I joined Sarah and friends
for some sightseeing to the table mountain, penguins and city
explorations. We also spent a lot of time with normal surfing.
One day in Muizenberg we shared the waves with many dolphins.
They were so closed to us, just like 3 meters between! It was
such a beautiful feeling. I hope I can go back to this place
very soon. Now I am in Muenster for the next course of my
firefighter education.

Back from the Canary Islands in Hamburg again. The first
2 weeks in Gran Canaria were disappointing in the beginning.
There was enough wind, but the waves were very small. In the
second week came the waves we hoped and I landed my first
pushloops. Thus, it was still a very good time. Well I took
the ferry over to Fuerte where we directly go into the
lagoon to start with the freestyle. Up to the penultimate
week we always had very good conditions, I could use to
improve myself. In addition, we were often in La Pared for
surfing which helped to survive the windless days. For my
birthday the boys planned a great party with coconut
bikinis, horny music and a lot of cool people who made an
unforgettable house party. The photos are online already,
and the video also coming soon. For the next time it calls
studying and working.

Again some time ago when I wrote something here, the
reason is as always the study. But well, the last exam
is written and finally the surfing time is back. In recent
months, I was only 3 times on the water, including a day
at the German Freestyle Battle in Lemkenhafen Fehmarn.
After an early drop out in the single-elimination I was
able to fight back in the double again, to lose again the
7 minute battle against my buddy Valentin. At the end I
was at the 6th Place, which is a very good result for me
and the fact that it was the first Battle with prize money,
it has made it to a successful day for me. On another day I
was with a few friends in perfect freestyle conditions in
the mud flat at the North Sea, where we recorded a few
video scenes and cut it together to a short film. You can
see it in videos, we called it World Wide Watt. What's the
plan for this semester break? I fly at 24.7 to Gran Canary
to find a couple of horny jump waves in Pozo with my buddy
David. Depending on the loss I drive 10-14 days later to
Fuerteventura by boat where are some good German
freestylers already been and will show me their new tricks.
After a total of 6 weeks, I will go back to Hamburg on 5.9.
I am confident to have a great time in the Canaries,
because it is still one of the most reliable wind
locations in summer.

Everything went as we hoped and in the last week on Sal we
got the waves we wanted. Three really good days in Ponta
Preta, good 4m high and as clean as I've ever seen. At the
beginning you are still slowly getting closer to the
breaking part of the wave, you can see from the top of the
wave the rocky coast and under you the sharp stones. On
the last day we want to know it, if something breaks it is
not so bad. A real horny day of surfing in the best waves
I've ever seen. Even after a stong wash cycle I could test
the not really easy exit over the stones with repeatedly
incoming waves. Fortunately, everything has remained intact,
only the board has a few less scratches. Unfortunately, we
had no more camera in the last week, but there are some of
the beautiful freestyle sessions on Sao Vicente. Also the
video is online, enjoy it.

I'm writing from Sao Vicente, an island of the Cape Verde
Islands. First I flew with Valentin from Hamburg to Sal,
where we met Adrian Beholz and Jo Reitberger. In one week,
we had 4 days with wind and unfortunately only one day
with waves that were not what we had hoped for Sal. The
intention was to fly by plane to the island of Sao Vicente.
The problem, that the People at the airport said suddenly
the plane was too full and they could not take our surf
equipment. Okay, so let's go just with the ferry it costs
only the half. There was already the next problem, it was
Carnival and the whole week was no ferry. Almost resigned
to that, we will spend the whole 5 weeks on Sal, we have
the info in the fishing port that there is a cargo ship
to Sao the next day. Hard to believe we still were able to
go with our surf equipment. After a 16hour very up and down
boat trip we arrived in the early morning. We are living
here in the small village of Sao Pedro 20m from the sea.
For dining, there are usually fish that is sold fresh
directly across from the fishing boat is also on the
doorstep for 1 € / kg. It is currently mating season for
the whales, so we were able to see several from the beach.
Now we are here for 2 weeks and I cannot remember a day
where I was not on the water. We could also film a lot, so
it will be a video again. The plan now is to spend another
week here and at the end it still on Sal in the hope to get
a decent wave at Ponta Preta then.

There are a few problems with the Dahab video.. Jonas
disk is unfortunately broken and he had not backed up any
of the new files. I only have a couple of few clips on my
laptop and so I will try to cut a really small video in
the next few days. What's still new? Wow, I could hardly
believe it, that I had received spontaneous a wildcard
for the World Cup in Sylt freestyle. Of course it was a
great experience and a very awesome event, which was
great fun. The result could of course be better, but it
is after all my first international competition and that's
why I went there with no expectations. In the 10 days we
had very good wind and not easy freestyle conditions, but
it's not new for Sylt. I have uploaded some new photos.
What's next, firstonce I hope I can use my new Rodeo in
the next few weeks, before it is getting colder and the
stressful learning process begins again. For the holidays
in February I try to plan a trip to the island Sal from
the Cape Verde, but I will see if it works.

There are some news. My second Semester was more time
consuming than the first and so I just surf 2 times in 4
whole months. I had a nice day with Valentin in
Großenbrode and the other day at the Saaler Bodden by the
German Freestyle Battle. In Saal were crazy Conditions,
I used my smallest sail 3,7qm and the Water was only 20cm
deep. Some nasty crashes were not to avoid, but it was a
really awesome event that I finished at 7th. As a summer
destination I chose Dahab, because I wanted to get ahead
in freestyle and wanted to learn new moves. We were 8
people and had first 3 very good weeks. Even a trip to
the Blue Lagoon were inside, a very hot spot and a nice
experience in the middle of the desert without running
water and electricity. The last two weeks the wind was
unfortunately very low and we get the new tricks not so
beautifully on camera. Nevertheless, I will upload a new
little video in the next coming weeks. Check also the new
pictures. Now the study starts soon in hope to have a bit
more time for surfing.

Now, four weeks in Kapstadt are over. It's a great place
to survive the winter ! I hadn't much luck with the wind,
so it was just possible to jump on four days of my trip.
The waves were often very good so it was perfect for
(wave) surfing, though. We've been to a few spots like
Kap, Witsands, Milnerton, Sunset, Melkbos, Patanosta or
for freestyling at Langebaan and even at the sea at Table
View. Kapstadt has much to offer! Windless days we used
to go wakeboarding or other days to become acquainted
with the city. Hopefully i won't be here for the last
time! In my gallery are new pictures for you and in the
next weeks there'll be uploaded a little video from Dennis
and me. Now, my studies are going on but as the days
become longer and the temperature warmer, the season in
Germany can start properly!

Finally, the stress of my exams are over and the flight
ended after a 18 hours long trip. Dennis Müller picked
me up with his rented VW Golf from the airport. It's
hard to get used to drive on the left side of the road.
As we arrived at the accomandation, we threw our bags
away and ran directly to the waves of Melkbos. These
waves are incredibly clean if you compare it to the
north sea. It was pretty nice to be on surfboard again.
At the second day we drove already to the southest
point of Africa - The Cape of Good Hope. There were
waves mast top high which was very impressive. The
following days the wind decelerated so we went to
Langebaan for a freestyle session and climbed on Table
Mountain to enjoy the view over Kapstadt. Tomorrow the
wind will refresh again!

When studies began once, there's barely time left to
write something here! Beside the learning, I've got
a mini-job, which leaves me even less time to be on
the water. I can count my surftrips to Büsum, Meldorf
and Fehmarn on two hands. Additionally the days are
closing in and it's getting cold, which makes it
harder to have a good time outside! As result I sold
my beloved surfbus and will spend my non-term in the
warm, sunny south of Africa. I just can't wait to spend
my time there. I'm going to know new cultures and maybe
the most beautiful and strongest waves I've ever seen!
But currently I need to focus on my studies. The first
written tests are coming soon!

At the beginning the time at Gran Canaria was great.
Crossing with the ferry was relaxed and in the evening
there was a strong breeze. The quarters directly at
the spot were good, material storing was inclusive and
the people were nice. All was just a bit more expensive
than the price Rene Egli takes for storing at the center.
The first days had the highest waves but I warmed up
very quickly. So, after a few days, the backloop worked
out. But then at the 6th day, the most rubbish thing
happened: Unfortunately my waveboard broke right in the
middle. I had to spend the rest of my holidays couched
in the sun. Bummer! So, now I'm forced to concentrate on
freestyle the upcoming weeks. Anyway it was a great trip
to Pozo and gained more experience at least! The gallery
is updated and the next days there'll be a short clip.
In addition, I'll use F2 boards in the future! But first
I will go back to Hamburg to search for a flat and start
my studies!

Four weeks at fuerte have been great. Everyday it was
windy but perfect conditions were rare. Often the wind
wasn't constant and there isn't as flat water as at
Norderney's sandbanks but we had a good time anyway.
Especially 'cause made my first shakas and ponchs.
Now I'll spend ten days at pozo, gran canaria for my
first backloop tries in the waves. After a few weeks
I'm going directly back to Hamburg. I got to find a
flat there because i'll start the preparations for my
studies there in september. So you'll meet me at places
like Grossenbrode, Meldorf and spots in the north of
Germany.

The German Freestyle Battle 1.0 2011 at Norderney was
successful! I came in 5th and was very happy about it.
There wasn't so much wind the last weeks at Norderney but
I could enjoy the sun with my friends for lots of times.
As I left the island I was a bit sad. Though have been home
for 18 days. The first days I used for working 'cause I
needed to gain money for the trip to Fuerteventura. In my
free time I met my friends and checked up things for
university. I'd like to go to Hamburg for studying
mechanical engineering in October. I hope I will be admitted!
Actually my plan for this summer is staying at Fuerte for 4
weeks and travel by a ship to Pozo, Gran Canary. I hope I'll
catch some good waves for jumping there 'cause I'd like to
improve the back- and pushloop.

Excuse me for writing so late. We had a lot to do 'cause we
worked on our ziviney movie. In the end it's finished now and
I think all the work paid off. See it for yourself!
There are lots of news. Adrian Beholz and me organized the
stand-by phase for the first German Freestyle Battle 2011 at
Norderney. The primary three weeks it wasn't possible to start
it because of the bad wind forecast. However, maybe next weekend
is great wind. We hope so, keeping our fingers crossed! :)
The last weeks I could improve myself a lot. I preside over the
switch kono, one handed funnel and lots of other moves work out
much better. So in the upcoming weeks i will start with the first
powermoves like burner and shaka.
For me,there are only five weeks left at Norderney and I enjoy
my last days as much as I can. After leaving I'll travel to
Fuerteventura once more. My flight is allready booked for the
18th of july and I'll stay about 2 month.

Yeah, the first two weeks in the cold Germany began pretty well.
Some days we've been sailing between the sandbanks, where you've
got great flatwater conditions. At one weekend, we had powerful
wind from the west. Therefore we all met at the Januskopf, to
catch some good waves. The conditions were fantastic, so we
jumped into the sky. There were backloops, frontloops, extreme
high jumps and hard crashes. The Ziviney movie progresses! More
action, better film equipment and an absorbing story - Time to
check out our new pictures from Norderney! www.Ziviney.de
The temperature is getting better, so I'm looking forward to

I'm back from my winter trip in Egypt. I met there some other German
Freestylers. In the first 2 weeks I could score 10 days on the water.
2 days of that were really nice, we had a lot of fun and could make
some action on the water. In the last week the wind dropped down and
we used the time to relax in the sun, played pool and made party.
One windless day we made a trip up to the next mountain and the view
was amazing. We made a few photos and filmed 2 interviews. I couldn't
believe that we had 3 rainy days, one of that with hails. The
statistic means Dahab has normally 2 days with rain per year. The
whole trip the guys and I filmed a lot and so will be a new video the
next days. All of that the 3 weeks were a nice time with good friends
on the water and also at the beach, but I couldn't learn some new
moves. Hope I can score some good sessions on Norderney next time.

perfect conditions in flat-water and waves. But after the third

the same break, 6 weeks without surfing. I can start in the
beginning of December and will be full of concentration to learn
the shaka and switch kono. In January I plan a 4 week winter trip,
maybe Bonaire or Dahab. Another important project for me is the
